That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2: Release Date, Trailer and Everything We Know So Far
Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken is an isekai action fantasy anime by Studio 8Bit. Tensei follows the story of a thirty-seven-year-old man, Satoru Mikami, who was stabbed by a random assailant. He was then reincarnated in another world as a slime. There, he meets The Storm Dragon Veldora who was sealed by a hero 500 years ago. As he got reincarnated as a slime, he acquired a lot of new skills, including the skill to devour anything and mimic it. Satoru befriends him, promising to free him from his sealed state. In return, Veldora bestows the name Rimuru Tempest on him and grants him divine protection.
The Second Season of Tensei ended on March 19, 2019. Since then, we were left to speculate the aftermath of what happened at the end of Season 2. A heavy shift occurred in the second season of the anime. In the first season, the events were very light-hearted and seemed to be a fun watch, with a lot of bits of humor and some light action. The second season shifted towards more seriousness, while still retaining the funny bits. Recently, we have been given some new details regarding the second part of the second season. The Story So Far
Part 1 of the second season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime focused on the battle between the Tempest Foundation and the Kingdom of Falmuth. As the kingdom of Falmuth had attacked the Tempest Federation, in the absence of Rimuru, a lot of lives were sacrificed, including Shion and Gobza. When Rimuru arrived, he saw the devastating scene and was enraged. Eren then came and told Rimuru that there was a way for him to revive the others. She told him if he became a Demon Lord, then he could revive all his companions. For becoming the Demon Lord, he would have to take the lives of 10,000 humans. Rimuru agrees to become a demon lord and kills everyone from the Kingdom of Falmuth to become a demon lord. In the process, his skills evolved and he became much stronger. He summons the Primordial Black and names him Diablo. Later, he sets his eyes on Demon lord Clayman who was responsible for the war between Tempest and Falmuth and the one between Frey and Milim. At last, he frees Veldora, fulfilling the promise he made at the beginning of the series. A lot of questions arise in the mind, What is Clayman’s plan? Why is Milim cooperating with him?

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2 has been confirmed officially and will come out on July 6, 2021. Additionally, a new cast has arrived. Guy Crimson, a new member, will be introduced and will be voiced by Takuma Terashima.

The first thing to notice is the amazing animation that has prevailed since the beginning of the anime. The trailer throws some light on what would happen in part 2. We see Clayman devising a plan against Veldora and Rimuru. Veldora and Rimuru are together planning to attack Clayman. Kingdom of Dwargon and Sorcerer Dynasty also make their appearance.
Another interesting event is the introduction of Walpurgis. It is a catastrophic event that is invoked due to a banquet between the Demon Lords. Leon Cromwell also makes an appearance. The most exciting moment is at the end of the trailer when the new character Guy Crimson makes his appearance.
